Day 2 – Amman and Arzaq Wetland Reserve
Spend the morning touring around Jordan’s capital city – Amman, take in the historical sites of the citadel and the Roman amphitheatre along with the souq and some of the many museums and art galleries. For lunch visit the Wild Jordan Cafe to sample some of the amazing local dishes made from all organic and local produce. In the afternoon drive out into the Eastern desert to visit the Azraq Wetland Reserve. A stunning oasis now a protected nature reserve, a great place to get some fresh air while walking along the trails to spot the wildlife – a must for bird lovers. In the evening return to Amman and enjoy your evening meal at either Beit sitti – where you learn to cook your own Jordanian meal, or The Wine Maker Restaurant – take a class in wine tasting with Zumot Wines (local Jordanian wineries) then enjoy a few glasses of your favourite with a scrumptious meal. Overnight in Amman
Day 3 – Madaba and Ma’in Hot Springs
After breakfast drive to Madaba for a short tour of the famous mosaic church and museum before heading to Ma’in Hot Springs and the Evason Six Senses Spa. Spend the day relaxing under the thermal waterfall and pools and treat your self to some of the amazing spa treatments available. All treatments use products made from the thermal waters and the Mud from the Dead Sea. Then depending on your budget you can choose to return for dinner and overnight in a Hotel in Madaba, or if you prefer a more luxurious option stay the night at the Evason Spa Resort.
Day 4 – Wild Wadi Hiking – Wadi Zarqa/Wadi Hessa
After all your relaxation yesterday you should be ready to take on a bit of an adventure today with hiking through the Wadis. Which Wadi you take will depend on your fitness level and how adventurous you want the trail to be. Most trails will make around 6 hours and will involve hiking, climbing and swimming your way through the Wadi. In the late afternoon make your way to Dana Reserve to camp overnight. Again you have the choice of Wadi Dana Eco camp or Feynan Eco lodge. The camp is a cheaper option, and you can stay in a chalet or tent, the camp holds activities such as yoga and star gazing on certain nights. Feynan is your 5 star option, with regular meditation sessions, yoga, star gazing, night walking, cooking classes (please check on booking for event schedule) and all food is locally produce and vegetarian.
Choose one of the nature trails through the Dana Reserve, again which trail will be down to your fitness level and how long you want to be walking for. Some trails are self guided while others you will need a guide. Make sure to take time to stop at the local produce shops while passing through the Dana Villages. Later afternoon head to Petra for your next hotel.
Day 6 – Petra
Spend the whole day exploring the ancient Nabatean city of Petra. We will arrange for you an English speaking guide for 4 hours, to help to bring the city to life. After the 4 hours feel free to stay and explore the other areas in your own time. In the evening there is a choice of activities for you to choose from depending on which day you are in Petra. Petra Kitchen – join in making your own dinner, learning about traditional Jordan cuisine. Petra Star light and candle light Meditation (Fridays and Saturdays only). Petra by Night – a tour of the siq and the Treasury by candle light (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday only). Overnight Petra

Day 7 – Aqaba
Early morning transfer to Aqaba. Spend the whole day relaxing by the Red Sea, swim, snorkel or dive along the coral reefs, or take a boat trip out in to the Gulf. Aqaba also has plenty of spas for you to unwind after the several days of hiking. The Antara Spa at the Kempinski Hotel, or the Zara Spa in Movenpick Tala Bay are well known for their high level of service and high quality treatments. There is also Janna Ladies Spa in the town – a budget option but by no means low quality. You can enjoy everything from manicures and pedicures, full body massages to full day moraccan bath experiences. For the men there are also Turkish Bath houses in the town. In the evening, enjoy a local speciality of seafood, or sayyadia, or take a sunset cruise with dinner on board. http://aboveandbelow.info/spa-and-wellness-jordan/Overnight in Aqaba.
